The American Intellectual Property Law Association’s 2018 Model Patent Jury Instructions Have Been Released

The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) has released an updated set of Model Patent Jury Instructions. Originally developed in 1997, the Model Patent Jury Instructions are distributed to district court judges, and are widely respected and used throughout the United States. They are intended to be used as a model set of jury instructions that are not biased in favor of either the patent owner or the accused infringer. Donika contributed to drafting and commenting on the 2018 Model Patent Jury Instructions.
