Redefining The Future Of Learning: Donika Pentcheva is being considered for an international award by a global platform that celebrates innovation, leadership, transformation, and impact

Because the international celebration event is an invitation-only event at this time, the name will be kept confidential for now.

One of the topics that will be discussed is the similarities and differences between—

(1) traditional degree-based educational systems, and

(2) skills-driven education.

By way of background, before Donika left Bulgaria, Donika tested into one of the top high schools located in the capital of Bulgaria that was based on the skills-driven education.  However, upon relocating to the United States, Donika entered a traditional degree-based educational system, wherein Donika obtained degrees in mechanical engineering, software engineering, mathematics, political science, and law.  At the core of Donika’s undergraduate traditional degree-based education was theology.

The question that arises is:

Is there a way to balance the implementation of the two: (1) the traditional degree-based educational systems with (2) the skills-driven education?
